Precepting
My orientee is here, she is actually funny, has a photographic memory, and will be pretty easy to orient. She hates nights too, so she is all over the night schedule at WC. This group class orientation however, is not leaving us much time to get our work done. It will be interesting to see if I can get her off orientation in 8 weeks. (She just started her 4th week and I have seen her for about a total of 8 hours!)
I know I shouldn't whine, but I hate 4 days in a row. I am so wiped out from this cold I have, and I still have another 12 hour day to go. Blah! Tomorrow I am at the Valley, and have to got to the Neonatal ICU for orientation myself. Don't get me wrong, I love babies, but not sick ones. They are to danged little. I know they are headed toward neonatal transports in the MICU, they just wont say so.
The pilots were talking about a new hanger being built at the Sidney airport! Oh no, I want to go to Urbana. I wonder if they are just building one, or this actually is where we may be going.
Well, Jennifer is ready to get started again. Gotta go
