So today I came back from work and realized I did not have my keys. Panic ensued as I had no idea where they might be. Lydia was also at work so I couldn't get in the room. I was just going to call her and tell her to let me know when she got back so I could get in the room, but my phone decided to not work. I was getting no signal for at least 20 minutes in a spot where I normally make phone calls all the time. Luckily, right outside my building was someone who lived on my floor last year so I used her phone to call Lyd. However, I forgot that she had meetings to go to right after work so I had to venture to the med school campus to the Division of Comparitive Medicine where they do animal testing to get Lydia's keys from her. Luckily my keys were on the desk.
I had to preregister for classes for next year by today. I think I'll get all the classes I requested, I just hope I still want them in the fall. I don't like making decisions too far in advance of when things are actually going to happen. That's probably just a result of my fickleness. If all goes well, my schedule should look like this:
AMST-205-01 AMERICAN CIV III: DOCUMENTARY /
TR 10:15AM 11:30AM
U 06:00PM 09:00PM
ENGL-470-01 INTRO TO JOURNALISM /
M 07:00PM 09:30PM
HIST-384-01 MARK TWAIN'S AMERICA /
W 04:15PM 05:55PM
LING-343-01 WOMEN, MEN, AND LANGUAGE /
TR 01:15PM 02:30PM
THEO-122-01 THE CHURCH & THE POOR /
TR 08:50AM 10:05AM
I am not sure how I feel about the mix of night and early classes. I generally like one or the other, but I guess I'll just have to see how it goes. No classes on fridays but film screenings on sundays. I also need to make time for a job and/or internship. College really does pass by way too quickly for my liking.
