Wow, have I missed livejournal? :) It has been a while. I figured it was time for an update.
First, I am finished with work orientation. I started on the floor this week. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Wow. I thought I would be dead after 3 12 hour shifts, but I was fine. I just slept a lot today. Now I have 5 days off! This 3 day work week is awesome. I love it. I officially go to nights permanently the last week of July. I love it though. I am so happy with my job. I am still in training for 6 weeks. I am sure there will be good days and bad days. But who doesn't? It is awesome that I am getting paid for this. It is such a great feeling. I am finally where I have wanted to be for 3 years now! :D
Next, I had planned on living at home for one more year before moving out and banking a lot of money. But Nicole was wanting to move to Oxford, and the opportunity presented itself and I took it. I always regretted not goin away to school and meeting new people. Having people around and something to do all the time. So this will prolly get all that out of my system. We signed a year lease. We are livin in Miami Central apartments. Everyone has to come visit! :) We move in August 19th. I am nervous, but SO excited at the same time. I am just not used to budgeting money and paying for toilet paper, toothpaste, groceries, and that kind of stuff. I will be totally fine though money wise, just not saving as much as I would have liked. Nicole is awesome, it is goin to be so fun! :)
What else? Oh yes, I have met a guy. A good one. A really good one. Our first date was amazing. I was completely blown away by it. We hung out for the next 4 days. It just clicked. He is SO sweet, intelligent, funny, cute, respectful of me, and so much more. And he even has a liberal view on politics, lol! He dresses nice, and even knows not to wear black belt and brown shoes. He just graduated from Miami. He has a teaching job starting in August. He is amazing. We would like to get a solid friendship first. We are trying not to dive into a relationship because we are both starting new chapters in our lives soon. So just seeing how things go. As of now, things are awesome.
Umm... I think I am closer to my family then I have ever been. It is great. To my Mom, sisters, everyone. Now I am super sad to leave them. It had to happen sometime though. My 21st is slowly approaching. August is going to be an awesome month. My 21st, movin to oxford, and JACK JOHNSON! :) I think that is all I got. The big stuff anyway. In summary, life is awesome. :)
