A simple night, but a night to remember.
Oh my godness, the show tonight was insane. I honestly have never had as much fun at any show as I did tonight. The music was great (minus the band with the banjo and accordion), the friends were awesome, and the craziness was never ending.
When we first go there we sat at a table where Jenna and Gabi were waiting (yes, we were actually able to do this--it was not crowded at all in the beginning) and Jenna Berlin was just finishing up. After they were done we sat and talked while the shitty ass ("not too bad, but not really worth it" band) came on. Honestly, all we could do was make fun of them. :P
After them some awesome dude named...Andy(?) Zipf rocked the crowd all by his lonesome. His talent was amazing. He had a great voice (the best voice of the entire night) and he got the crowd so into the music BY HIMSELF. Anyone who can be solo and work the crowd that well is amazing in my eyes. I mean, some bands couldn't even work the crowd as well as he did.
Basically...he was awesome.
Then Rosefield got on the stage. I must say, from the good things I have heard about them I definitely expected more. I mean, they were good, but, I liked them better when the whole band was involved. I still loved every second of it though.
During their performance Ashley, Lindsey, and Jennie came, which was a suprise to me. Having them there made it all the more fun. The second they got there we started dancing crazy; we didn't care how ridiculas we looked. <--- which definitely was the case.
When they finished we were so hot from dancing we went outside and smoked.The cold felt sooo good!
After our "smoke break" we went inside to see the last band, Stuck With Authur, setting up. I was so excited to see them again; I haven't seen them since the Summer. When they started playing we (Me, Jenna, Lindsey, and Ashley) completely lost it. We went nuts. It was great.
"Who needs to mosh when you got moves like this?!!"
After the show we (Me, Nick, Amber, and Andy) went to Java's for a little while, where I got water poured on me as if I were some barmaid not once but twice by Amber(1st) and Nick(2nd). After throwing a little fit about that we left and headed up to Perkins, where we were to meet up with Ashley, Lindsey, Jennie, Gabi, and Jenna. Here we saw not only a pirate, but a herion addicted waiter as well.
I'm telling you...it was a sight.
Man, I had so much fun tonight. This night was a night to remember.
