SNL was pretty good this weekend. I liked that they had a Kaitlyn sketch. This week in my class I'm having the students perform SNL sketches and then write their own. They seem pretty pumped so I'm happy. So you can pass it on to Tina Fey that her writing is now being used as a textbook for 11th grade American Lit students at Jennings High School.
Yeah, Paul Giamatti ended up being a REALLY good host. That sounds like a kick-ass assignment. If you're interested in getting an SNL script to use as an example, I think I left one at home in STL that you could probably pick up. But I'm not sure it would make much sense - they have an interesting way of writing out those things. Let me know. Also...I think I unintentionally pissed off your girl Rachel Dratch this weekend at the party. I was talking to Will Forte about the Cardinals and she was standing behind us. He kept saying "I gotta go - Rachel's giving me a ride home." but then he kept getting distracted and talking, even though I kept saying "Will, go home!" Whoops.
