50 Book Challenge

(part of 50 book challenge, check out the community)

I think 50 books in a year is an interesting challenge. I am sure I have read that many in a year a few times in my life, if not most years of my life...but it is worth the challenge just to count them. I have read plenty of books recently, but I am picking July 10th 2009 as my starting day because I left my family from a visit that day and I know exactly what I have read since I have been back.

50 books in a year is a little under one book a week..that is a challege, but since July 10 I have read 4 books already.

Book 1: "Night Shift" by Nora Roberts

Book 2: "Night Shadow" by Nora Roberts

Book 3: "The Gunslinger" by Stephen King

Book 4: "The Drawing of The Three" by Stephen King

I finished book 4 today and started on book 5:

"The Waste Lands" by Stephen King

I have also set another challenge for myself, to re-read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King by the end of the summer, as you can see I have already made a good start.

I want to keep this first post short, so I wont put in any summaries, but I will keep you updated on my reading in the future.
