(no subject)
So last night I saw Wicked with Boumer and his fam.... I'm soo happy I got to go. I mean, I knew it would be amazing...but I really loved it even more than I was expecting. I usually get really restless and kinda bored by the end of even really amazing musicals...cuz I'm a little kid basically. lol But I wasn't AT all with Wicked. It was simply amazing. We didn't have the normal actress or the standby for Elphaba.. we had the understudy...which seemed kinda weird, but she was still amazing, obviously.
The dancers were INCREDIBLE. Dancing through life was unbelievably amazing. The chorus really doesn't get as much credit as it should because they were so talented.
Basically... it was amazing. I've said that like 10 times already, but really. lol
This week I go to orientation....missing dance AGAIN. It's okay, our tap sucks anyways.. haha. I'm kinda glad that this is my last year of dance... I really can't do it anymore. My left hip is getting worse...and my right one is still messed up...lol A few weeks ago he said if my right keeps bothering me they can go in and remove the screws and staples cuz that might be what's bothering me, but I really don't want to go through another surgery. So if I really wanted to keep dancing, I would have to have that done AND get my left taken care of...cuz I really can't even dance well anymore.. sophomore year was my high point and last year was worse and now this year I don't do any sweet tricks because EVERYthing hurts my stupid hips.. lol. Ohh well. It's not like I wanted to major in dance or anything... it was fun while it lasted, but after this recital and nationals in July, I will be retired. haha
Our company is also going way downhill....haha she's really trying to do way too many things at once and its going to hell. So next year will be interesting for them, to say the least.
Well, I'm going to take a nap before dance! Just thought I would update about Wicked.
