Again, I would really love feedback on how to improve. To read the first part, scroll down a couple of posts.

Faith practically ran the whole way home, noticing that her speed had increased as well. God, I’m some kind of a superhero or something. Faith thought to herself. Like Batman, only born to kill vampires. I can live with that. As long as I’m strong, I can live with that. She didn’t bother trying to explain why she all of a sudden believed vampires were real, she just felt the need to trust her instincts.

As she ran through the trailer park, she noticed the dirty old men sitting outside of their excuses for homes; watching her as a hawk watches its prey. That familiar feeling of being stripped naked and examined crept up, but she tried to push it down.

That doesn’t matter now, nothing matters now. No more taking advantage of a little girl. No more weak little girl crying for help, things were going to change.

Faith swung the door, leaving a dent in the trailer as the door slammed into the side of the trailer. Her father was sprawled over his chair, a beer in his hand. She knew her mother wouldn’t be home, she’d be out drunken and partying with whoever tickled her fancy that night. Typical, fucking typical.

"Where the hell have you been." he grumbled, taking a long, cold swig of his beer. "I thought I told you to be home by 10."

Normally under these circumstances, Faith would be ducking her head down, mumbling a response, anything but staring him in the eyes and smiling. "You know, I really think we should move into a bigger place. This place is pretty cramped. Plus those old men out there keep giving me the eye." she jerked her thumb towards the door. "Do they do that to you?" she paused, then laughed. "No, of course not. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but hey, from experience here - you aren’t the prettiest man to look at when a girls getting laid."

The man in the wife beater with large sweat stains and greasy hair pushed himself off of his chair. "Just who in the hell do you think you are?"

"Honestly? I think I’m a lot of things. But mainly...I think I’m the chick who’s gonna give you what’s been coming to you for the past 16 years."

Before he could respond, she had kicked him squarely in the stomach, sending him flying out of the trailer and into the dirt. She pulled him to his feet and grunted as she repeatedly punched his face until she felt the satisfaction of his blood dripping onto her fist.

"How does it feel!" she cried out, knocking him onto his back again. "How does it feel?" she asked again.

"Faith stop it! This isn’t right, he’s human!" Faith felt her arms pinned back by the same blonde English woman she had seen in the alley. She knew she could pull away, but she chose to let the woman calm her down. Nobody had cared enough to help her out before, and for some reason she felt she could trust this woman. She wanted someone to trust, anyone. And an explanation while she was at it.

"So let me get this straight....Sara, right? You’re...a watcher. I’m...a vampire slayer, because some chick Kennedy - "

"Kendra." Sarah corrected.

"Kendra, died?" she let out a long breath. "And there’s one slayer, in all the world- "

"Well, two now. You see there was one, Buffy Summers, and she died, but was then revived with CPR. She was dead just long enough for Kendra to be called."

"Buffy....weird name, so you guys must be happy, right? Two slayers are better than one, right?"

Sara scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Oh yes, we are so ecstatic that the prophecies and laws the Council has set up for centuries were broken by one little blonde girl. We don’t love her Faith. She has changed the slayer line permanently, and has in no way helped us. Not to mention her watcher is certainly not fit for his job."

Faith was silent for a moment, taking all of this in. The apocalypes, the fighting, this Buffy girl, who she now desperately wanted to meet - nothing she loved more than someone authority figures hated. And her father, who was probably still flat on his ass in the dirt.

"So...tell me more about this Buffy."
