(no subject)
So work was pretty decent this week-- I got to be with my favorite class, 3's #3 yesterday :) And we had a teddy bear picnic in the classroom. It was a good time. There was a couple nasty situations with the kids this week, but it's so gross that we won't even discuss it lol. Anyway, no big plans for the weekend. Probably going out on the new boat today for the first time. I actually got a look at it and it's super nice! So hopefully I'll have fun and get some sun today, even though it's kind of cloudy :P After work yesterday I picked Candice up from the ferry, she's staying home in DE this weekend. So we hung out for a couple hours and had some pizza. It was nice chillin with her. I miss my el ed girls this summer! And the big news of yesterday: Praxis 2 scores came...I passed!! The passing score for DE is 151 and I got a 164 so I am in the clear...and I passed for Jersey too, since you only need a 141 to pass. I honestly didn't know how I did after I took it but turns out I did just fine...thankfully. So no need to worry about that anymore. I'm actually considering taking the Praxis 2 for English/Literature so that I would be certified to teach middle school, as well. I don't have to take it for Wesley (not like the Praxis 2 content areas) but I would take it so it would look better for me and open up my options a bit. But if I didn't pass it the first time, I'd be done. At $110 a test, I'd have to be lol. Now all I need to do to graduate on time is keep my GPA up...not too tough. Oh well I'm excited!
