(no subject)
So this weekend was fun, not what I had planned but good lol...
Friday I got paid!! :) Hopefully I'll be getting more hours cuz I could make really good money working full time and supposedly I will so we'll see. So Friday night I went up to Dover and stayed with Emily. It was a chill night (since we knew we had to be up at 615 to get ready to take the praxis 2 - content knowledge). We just hung out, got caught up, talked and read Cosmo. The Praxis went okay. It was weird cuz some parts were really easy, like the language arts and the math and science was okay but social studies definitely got me. It's not that it was hard it's just that I don't remember all that stuff! :P So I don't know how I did really, just hoping that I passed the first time so I don't have to worry about it!
After the praxis, I came back to the beach. Initally Emily was supposed to come with me but she couldn't. I did ask Amanda too but she had to work. So I was by myself again but it's cool cuz it ended up that I helped my parents fix up my room a lot. The bed got delievered late afternoon. It's not the one we actually ordered but I like it better lol...so I'm not complaining. It's a white metal framed day bed with a trundle bed underneath. The mattress for the trundle has a little hole in it so we are getting a new one sent to us but other than that I love it! We couldn't put it where we planned cuz of space, but we have it against the window and it works. My dad put up four shelves for my crap lol and it is wonderful! He also put a new TV and receiver in my room and took the speakers from my room at home and my DVD player form school and hooked it up so I have a whole little theatre in there now. Plus with the bed and the shelves, I have a ton of extra space! And I am proud of my own idea -- what I call my reading/book nook. There is a little corner where the bed doesn't go all the way across the wall and this is where this area is. My mom and I went out and bought a little rug and a bunch of pillows and a little bookshelf for this area and it looks so cute!! I love it :) I actually took pics of the new looking room, if you are interested. Anyway I really like it and that's what I did most of my weekend.
I get more hours at work this week so today I go in at 12:15-6 and Wednesday I work 8:30-6. And tomorrow before I go into work at my regular time (2:30-6), I babysit for the last time with Alexi. So my week is a bit more busy but that is cool. I'll be making a bit more money. Plus, I have next weekend to look forward to. My family and some neighborhood friends are going to KIllian's Pond to go camping for Saturday night. Then Sunday, I'm going to Dover to spend time with Kev and some friends up there :) Should be a fun weekend.
