(no subject)
So it's been a looong time since I updated...lots going on, I'll try to do the cliff's notes version:
Didn't do anything for Halloween cuz I'm so broke that I wanna cry. But I did get to go see Saw 2... really good! Crazy surprise ending :)
Been teaching reading workshop. Kids are crazy talkative...maybe I should rethink the teaching thing, lol JK (that would really suck after almost 3 years of college)
Scheduled for classes next semester and got everything I needed. So I'm going to have a lax schedule compared to this semester. Elementary Art, Inquiry Based Learning, Children's Lit, Tutoring reading, and Fairy Tales. And yay most of my friends that I'm in classes with now, I have more classes with next semester. And I should be graduating on time (waiting for one class to be offered in the summer... keeping my fingers crossed!)
I went to see Gwen Stefani and Black Eyed Peas in concert on the 4th. The BEP were awesome; lots of energy and really fun. Gwen was hot and rocked the show :) I had a good time dancing and singing to every song. Supposedly she's got a new album in the works already, part 2 to Love, Angel, Music, Baby so that's exciting. Oh yea and I won a Q102 tshirt :)
This past weekend I went to NYC and saw the Rockettes Christmas show. It was really cool. It was hard to get in the Christmas spirit just yet but it was lots of fun. I always wanted to see that since I was little so that was fun. I got to hang out with Nick and walk around NYC the rest of the day. Definitely saw the wedding dress I want. Too bad it was at Saks and I'll NEVER be able to afford it, since it would be like one year's salary lol...oh yea and the Harry Potter premiere was the day I was there! I took a picture of the theatre but wasn't able to be there to see that stars come in.
Last night I met Shavonda from Real World Philly. She came to talk at Wesley about race issues, interacial dating and the Real World. I got her autograph, talked for a bit and got a pic with her. She was really sweet and she made lots of good points.
So what's in store for the next week..? Harry Potter on Friday!! :) Thanksgiving next week, which means home, good food, visit with Nicole and baby and shopping with Kristin! Fun stuff :)
