(no subject)
I know, I haven't updated in a while but I try my best lol...which pretty much sucks cuz I'm really busy.
So what's been going on?? Well Kev's birthday was the 14th and he turned 21! That was exciting. There was supposed to be a party for him but stupid things happened to get that changed, not that he cared cuz he didn't want one anyway lol. (I wasn't the one throwing him the party) But anyway Shelli came down and a big group of us went out to dinner at Friday's to celebrate. He got a big yummy margarita and then Grace and Shelli snuck away and got the waitress to sing happy birthday and surprise him with a mudslide. Then we came back to my apartment and hung out. Although many friends coped out early, CD and Shelli stayed and chilled. It was fun overall. Then we had fall break, which I did a lot of running to and from the DMV. Upon which, my car is now "safely" inspected. Then last week, NEA had the fall festival, which hopefully will appear in the DSEA newsletter :) It turned out nice - without rain and without a huge amount of kids! Then this weekend was, really, really lazy. I did a lot of extra sleeping which is orgasmic lol and CD and I watched a lot of Sex and the City. So I haven't really done much. Actually I have had quite a bit of time off school which has been awesome but this week is a full one, lol. Back to teaching writing workshop lessons. It is fun though. I've actually missed the kids the last two weeks. Can't wait till this Friday cuz I'm going home to AI's homecoming game! Hopefully all my friends from high school can make it and it won't get rained out this year :) Then Saturday is Wesley's homecoming so I'll be back down Saturday morning for that. Anyways, that's pretty much what's going on...plus a lot of working at the writing center -- can't wait for my paycheck!!
