(no subject)
So it's October...and it's still warm :) Except the other day was kinda cold. Classes are good, crazy and insane but good. Work at the writing center is cool. I like it cuz when no one comes I get paid to do homework, and it's so quiet in there! The kids at CCS are cool. I start teaching tomorrow :) I have to do a writing workshop lesson on adjectives. I have my six writing workshop lessons already written. And I start tomorrow, kinda nervous but it should be fun. I'm afraid I won't have enough time to finish my lesson tho, cuz she's always pressed for time. Oh well, we'll see. Hopefully it goes well. Nicole's baby Gabriel was born September 29th at 9:25. He was 8.5 lbs and 21 in. Nicole went through a loong and painful labor but her and the baby are doing well at home now :) I can't wait to see him on Thanksgiving! So this past weekend was fun. Friday night was chill time...Kev and I ordered Chinese and drank a lil bit with Christian, Desiree and Ashley. Then Saturday I went shopping for Kev's bday and we went to Friday's for dinner and ended up running into Brandy and Joe so they ate with us. Then last night we just chilled with them and went to Deb's party a lil bit lol. Today, Kev and I attempted to go out for breakfast but everywhere was insanely packed so we ended up going to Ruby's for an earlier lunch. It was yummy. And right now I'm eating my cinnabon cheesecake from Friday's last night. It's so yum! So...everything is going good. Hopefully this week won't be too bad...I only work 2 days at the writing center and I don't have too much work due. Next weekend I'm going home...I think to the beach. That shouild be fun, feels like I haven't been home in a while. Oh yea, and next weekend is a 3 day weekend cuz of Columbus day! Anyway, guess I'll go finish my cheesecake ;)
