ugh you're both so wonderful how can i pick any favorites??
i love them all!
but especially
i love the first one with ariel, the orange-red of her hair and green of her shirt really stand out against the background and her lips being a darker red is a subtle detail but one that really brings everything together. i love how the background gets lighter towards the bottom. and while the texture/design in the background and the outline of ariel herself are sharp, she herself is still soft in areas such as the face which is a really lovely contrast. also, yellow. ❤
the pastel blue here is so nice and soft and...pretty? idk how to explain it exactly, it just makes me want to sigh in content when i look at it. the colors of her hood are bold enough to where you can clearly see them but not pastel enough to where they blend in with the background which can be tricky, i'm in awe of how well you excelled it. (i am always in awe of you tho, lbr)
on the other hand, i love the darkness and richness of regina in this one. the darkness on the left and the light on the right. brilliant. not sure if you thought about using this one for the favorite baddie category, but if you were and were doing the darkness/light intentionally in combination with that (darkness because she's a "baddie", light because she's your favorite) then that was insanely clever.
i love the colors in this. they're all so vibrant and rich without seeming like too much is going on. i also really adore the glow around the corners (yellow! hehe) it makes this cool effect of a shape within a shape within a shape etc. (square of the icon, the corners with the yellow orbs, the almost diamond of the rug, the star of their joined hands, the circle of the table)
i adore the green in this one! something about how it seems to fade from light green to dark and the almost film grainyness of it? idk i just really love it.
THE TEXT ON THIS ONE. AFDKLFD. words cannot express how much i love th e text in this one, but just know that you're both wonderful and amazing and i'm so envious okay i'm done now promise

that one was actually an alt for purple, i toyed with using her as favourite baddie, except i'm largely attached to her character because of her redemption arc (well, that and how much i relate to her) so i wasn't sure if she technically qualified as a baddie in that sense. the lighter side vs the darker side of the icon was a vague attempt to convey that arc? (also she's just very pretty in that cap)
