Hi from Wren~!!! :D
Hello, hello~ This is Luxord's mum with a little update from him!!! He's not able to hold or use his laptop or phone where he is, so he gave me his password and such to inform you of his condition. He's still very tired and in a fair deal of pain, and they're just starting to put him on actual food! Except it's hospital food, and we all know what that's like! :) I've been trying to get him some decent food to keep him strong, but it seems scones and tea are "not nutritious enough" for him. Personally, I think he could use the morale boost, at least! >:(
The extraction surgery went well, and all three of the bullets were removed successfully! He has a cracked rib that nearly punctured his lung, and while I'll make SURE that he doesn't smoke for a while, he'll be fine in the long run~ His upper arm and thigh are doing okay, and while he can't walk at all, he's taking it really well. The doctor said he might have to go through some physical therapy, but he can take it! He's a toughie, just like his father!! :)
He'll be transferred to a general wing in two days. Everyone who wants to can visit him there, and I'm sure he's glad about that!!! He says he misses all of you very much, and the nurses aren't letting him see anyone who isn't immediate family. Every time he looks out at the glass that separates him from his friends, he just looks sadder and sadder. :( The poor dear got in a tiny fight this morning with his attending nurse because they wouldn't let Aeris or Ffamran in, and I see why he'd put up a fight! Lucky's a little stir-crazy, and I don't blame him at all! They let him have a crochet hook and yarn, and he's been using that to keep his mind off of things lately and to keep his hands busy, but he says it's no substitute.
He's asleep again now, the poor dear. He's been through quite a lot recently, I don't blame him for turning in early. He doesn't even look peaceful when he sleeps...like he's worried about something, but he won't say what. :( Nolan fixed up the window as best as he could, the police have already cleared the house and done their little evidence-thing, and we're doing all we can for him while he recovers. :( Keep him in your wishes and thoughts, won't you?
