Camp ended today and it is so hard to believe that 6 weeks have already passed. I mean wow what happened to camp? I remember that first morning of staff week how akward everyhthing was and how today everybody found there niche. I leave for Madison on Sunday for orientation. Fun stuff, can't wait (note the sarcasm).
In much more serious news the situation in Israel has taken a turn for the worse in the past 2-3 weeks. I am so sick of turning on the TV and seeing how the Leboneese are suffering. I understand that they are suffering, but wheres the other side of the story? Where are the videos of hundreds of Israeli men, women, and especially childred crammed into very small undergroud shelters for days at a time? And the part that really pisses me off is how they portray Israel as the aggressor. If Israel wanted to they could wipe Lebanon off the map along with Syria and Iran. Yet they are exercising unbelievable control with their response. The final issue I have is how they show Hezbollah dancing in the street when they kill an Israeli and yet the Israelis are still portrayed as the bad guys. No where will you see Israelis dancing and celebrating the death of a Leboneese person. They understand that every life they take is a life and it is nothing to cheer about. So whereever I am, I have I Am and I Will, stand strong with Israel.
