What is your favorite concert (or, if you haven't been to one, who would you like to see?)

That's easy, Emmet Cahill. An amazing singer but also wonderful storyteller and so funny he doesn't even know it.

Album: That's really really hard since I can't sort by album by number of plays.. And because I listen to CDs in my car...But I guess I'll say full listens through would probably haJosh Groban My first concert (besides classical stuff) that I ever got to go too (it was his first tour) and so that album is memorable to me.

Song: "Heaven Bound" by Ryan Kelly

Never heard of Ryan Kelly, but I've liked pretty much every Josh Groban song I've ever listened to. *g*

If you like Josh Groban check out Emmet O'Hanlon and Emmet Cahill. Both AMAZING singers. Seriously Google them... and while I'm biased cause I'm friends with Emmet, I think he's a better singer than Josh (and this is coming from a long, long time Josh fan).

I think one of the reasons I like both of these men, not only that they have amazing voices but they can sing various genres and sing them well.
For instance, this is Emmett O'Hanlon as a student at Juilliard:

But then he can go from that to this:

Emmet Cahill is the same way. He can go from singing classical:

To singing pop (which he does awesome. He sings Justin Beiber better than Justin does!)

Ryan is a part of the singing group Celtic Thunder but he's a good singer himself. He's not classically trained like Josh is but very soulful.
Here's one of my favorites from Ryan:

Wow, these are great! Both the Emmets have great voices (and you're right, he does Justin Bieber better than Justin Bieber :p).

How would you describe your taste in music?

Classically based I guess... I'm really picky about singers (women especially), so a lot of my stuff stems from classical and vocals. I absolutely HATE pop music. I think it's absolute trash. I also find a lot of my stuff is groups or singers a lot of people haven't heard of. Also have a lot of cast albums/musical theater, that sort of thing.

What time period defines your music?

It doesn't have one. I have music from the early 1600s to a handful of pop music.

Probably Center Stage if we're talking strictly movies here... But I adore The Sound of Music, so that's right up there too.
