- Do you typically enjoy films that are based off of books or do you avoid them? I do enjoy them! So many times when I watch a movie based off of a book I have an urge to go and get the book! And also if I love a book I want to see it come to life on the screen.
- Would you rather read the book or watch the movie first? I have a slight preference for reading first because I get lazy and won't always actually commit to reading the book if I've seen the movie. I makes me fee like I already know what's going to happen... even though I know in theory that they can be very different.
- What are some example(s) of films or movies based on books that got it right? I know that Harry Potter isn't perfect, but I still love to see the characters, the places, and the magic all come to life. It's like stepping into the magical world that I love so much. The Chronicles of Narnia movies are the same. I just love seeing these characters and the world in this way.
- If you see a film based on a book does it make you want to go and read the book? Sometimes yes! When I first watched the TV show Vampire Diaries I went out and bought the first book and started it. But I was disappointed and didn't make it much more than a couple of chapters in. I did the same thing with the Percy Jackson movie/book and I'm ashamed to say that even though I've heard great things about the books, I've never even opened the book :(
