What are you thoughts in general on the movie? Have you seen this movie before? If so, did you enjoy a repeated viewing? If not, what did you think? Did you have expectations going into it? OMG!! I love this movie so much!! I have the VHS super duper boxed set with the cassette tape of the soundtrack, the soundtrack with the audience partici-----pation and the Broadway soundtrack. The first time I saw it was with a bunch of people from work. We arrived slightly late, so we missed the virgin bit at the beginning so I never had to go up and get my cherry popped in subsequent viewings. I've also seen the musical as one of the theater companies did it here a decade or so ago. I agreed to be an usher for the theater company so that I could see it for free as many times as I liked. Which characters did you like the most? The least? I love Frank! I don't really dislike anyone. Which scene was your favorite and why? Frank posing as Janet was probably my first ever slash exposure. Yeah, the "virgin" hazing bit at the beginning of things really threw me whenever I went. But I love so much of the rest of the audience participation. I assume these things change over the years, but I haven't been to one in almost a decade now, so I don't know if they have.
I'd love to see this in the theatre, but I am a bit wary of the whole virgin thing. I don't like crowds but I'm more or less okay with being inside a crowd. I'm not so okay with being put on the spot in front of a crowd. Just thinking about it makes me all kinds of uncomfortable.
