What are you thoughts in general on the movie? Have you seen this movie before? If so, did you enjoy a repeated viewing? If not, what did you think? Did you have expectations going into it? I first saw this film at a midnight showing in Berkeley. I loved the hijinks and it was all crazy new to me. Only problem was my then-boyfriend got into the spirit of the event with no knowledge of the routine, so was yelling random things with gusto, which came off more like heckling and rather annoying. I remember being full of admiration for the cosplayers. Loved it. But have only rewatched random bits since, because the overall drags (LOL) a bit for me now. Also, at that first viewing, the ending disturbed me.

I'd love to see it in the theater, though.

Which characters did you like the most? The least? I don't think I have a best/ least. Riff Raff has the best singing voice.

Which scene was your favorite and why? I love the part when Eddie roars out on the motorcycle, because I had no idea Meatloaf was in the film and it was a hilarious ( ... )

I'm pretty sure the ending disturbed everyone. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't intended to be disturbing.

I feel like seeing it in the theater would be worse for me if I found it uncomfortable watching on my own. There were parts I liked, though (mostly songs). And Time Warp is awesome.

LET THERE BE LIPS!!!!!!!!

What are you thoughts in general on the movie? The first time I saw this movie was when I was 11 or 12. My mom's THEN best friend came over with the VHS, rented from blockbuster, and asked my mom if we could make popcorn. Mom said NO, very adamantly, LOL. I love the HELL out of this movie and practically have the whole thing by heart, including a lot of the audience participation, haha.
Which characters did you like the most? The least? Magenta is my favorite. She gives so little shits about what goes on, LOL. She also REALLY loves her brother. Least favorite is Janet. Ugh, so annoying. So whiney. I wanted to punch her, a lot,.
Which scene was your favorite and why? My favorite scene was when Eddie burst out of the freezer and started singing. Because Meat Loaf is awesome and I love Eddie and Colombia.
Which songs did you enjoy the most? Hot Patootie and Time Warp
Which character from The Rocky Horror Picture Show are you? LOL, i got Frank.

Definitely agree about Eddie and the freezer scene. He and Colombia are pretty awesome together.

I have no idea why I never got this e-mail notification.

They were, and it was the only relationship that was somewhat healthy, LOL.

LJ does it to me sometimes, too. *sigh*

Somewhat being the key word, I think. :p I don't think anyone in this movie had a truly healthy relationship (or personality tbh). :D

Did you have expectations going into it?When I first saw it, I had no idea what it was about. That was before the days of internet everywhere and all the time, and the copy I picked up at the video store had a bunch of quotes about how awesome it was on the back but no actual plot description. To be honest, I thought it was a cheap 70s vampire horror film (the Horror in the title misled me a little). The thing is, it kind of starts like a horror movie - if you ignore the singing mouth and the singing in general... Ordinary wedding. Ordinary young couple. Dark and stormy night. Creepy old house. Creepiest butler ever. And then, suddenly, Tim Curry in drag. But hey, it was funny and enjoyable enough (even though I didn't get half the jokes back then). Plus, I like absurd humour. I've seen it several times since then and it's definitely better with a few more years of life experience under ( ... )

I really want to see it on a big screen. It sounds like it would be tons of fun.
