- What was the last book you read? The Wolf of Wall Street, but I didn't finish it. The last book I actually finished was Dolores Claiborne, I think. I really don't read that much because I get distracted too easily lol.
- Of your favourite books, which one do you like to recommend to people? Doctor Sleep, Misery, 'Salem's Lot, Pet Semetary...I'm sure most people have heard of these lol.
- Which ones do you NOT like to recommend to people? Can't think of anything right now.
- Do you still own any books from your childhood? I'm sure they're around here somewhere.
- What are you reading now? Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King.
- Have you seen any recent movies that were books? I caught parts of Dolores Claiborne and Misery on TV today lol.
- If you hosted book club, what would you serve? Pizza.

Lol a book club mixed with a pizza party sounds like something taken straight out of my dreams

Pizza makes everything better tbh.

I just remembered that I have Doctor Sleep on my Kindle to read. I'm going to re-read The Shining first, in theory.

But what kind of pizza? :D

Yes, you should def re-read The Shining first! I didn't because like I said it takes me forever to get through a book because I can't seem to sit down and make myself read for an extended amount of time (even though I enjoy reading lol) but I kinda wish I had because it would have made certain things more powerful lol.

I'm boring even in my pizza choices so it'd be pepperoni with extra sauce on it. :P I'd offer to get others what they wanted, within reason, to make up for it LOL.

I will definitely re-read it then. I'm terribly slow with books... especially over the last few years. I used to read tons more. I think it's that I share the Kindle with my sister, so I only really read books on that when I'm taking a bath and not a shower, which is not often. The paperbacks I can read in bed, but I'm mostly re-reading stuff because we haven't been to the library lately and I can't afford to buy things.

Pepperoni is taaaasty. I'm one of those people who likes pineapple on pizza, so mine would involve that. :P

I haven't read Wolf of Wall Street, but the movie was pretty painful. They took over the top to a whole new level.

(sorry for the late reply!)

I loved the movie, but I suppose I'm biased because Leo DiCaprio is one of my favorite actors and I enjoy most of the stuff he's been in. :P

I get distracted very easily as well. I read a few books recently, but it was mostly because I took a car trip that is 8 hours long. lol I used to read a lot in middle school and high school, but I haven't read nearly as much since I graduated high school 3 years ago.

Same here! I used to read in study hall and lunch all the time because what else was I going to do (besides homework so I didn't have to do it at home lol) but it's hard to dedicate time to reading without having no other options lol. Also, we graduated in the same year. :P

I have heard of all of those books, but I have not yet read any of them lol.

I have a horrible habit of going for YA when I read, because I feel like all the time I'm reading text books or research papers...and I just want to shut off my brain and read for fun when I read, lol.

Of the four, which one would you recommend most, if a girl were looking to broaden her reading horizons?

Definitely Misery. It's the shortest of them all and it's a pretty easy read. There are some sections with passages from a made up book that I could have done without, but other than that I have no complaints lol.

I need to read more Stephen King. And a book and pizza party sounds awesome.

Yes! He's such a great author. And it's my idea of a perfect party. :P

I read Misery once when I was working at a summer camp. It was a really odd thing to read late at night in an old cabin surrounded by sleeping girls. :P But I loved it so much!

LOL it's really such a great book. I even laughed at a couple parts, but my sense of humor is fucked up anyways. :P
