Working has never been so much fun! I know this sounds strange coming from someone who tired to do at least 8 hours of study a day, 10 on the weekends if I could manage it. Or maybe it doesn't but it is quite a rush. I get to liaise with Wizards and Muggles.
That's right I didn't update about this, did I? Susan, Justin and Hannah know of course. (I hope you got those owls. Sorry I could say much more than "Hallo, How are you?" It's been mad.) I've been up to my eyes in paper work, tests, seminars (What skills you can learn in a two hour seminar amazes me!) and meetings. What happened was my Uncle Harold is the head of the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. I've always been interested in Muggles, only ever seeing them in the streets and such (Justin thinks I've lead too sheltered a life. I'm inclined to agree with him). Plus I did get top of the class with Muggle Studies (None too shabby at 110%, if I do say so myself.) That was after Hermione left the subject of course. You are a brilliant mind there Granger. I hear you're in Germany now? How's that holding up? I'm thinking of traveling, myself. There's a Muggle Protection meeting in Scotland that's meant to cover pros and cons of ensuing a Muggle Protection Act and I'm interested in what the Wizards might say on the matter. I'm all for it.
I've gone off on a tangent now. Where was I? Oh-- Well Uncle Harold put in a good word for me. SO after a few tests, a meeting (My scores impressed, I must say) and a few forms, you are looking at the new Junior Muggle Liaison Assistant. It's all behind the scenes work for now (only being an assistant and everything) and I'm hoping to be promoted of course. If Minister for Magic came into the cards I wouldn't thumb my nose at it. But really I'm not thinking of getting to that position (Though our Government could do with a good kick up the arse). If I'm happy with what I'm doing now then I'll do that until I retire.
I hope you are all well and maybe we'll run into each other.
