Strange that this feeling grows more and more, because I have never loved someone like you before...
Ever since the day he returned from the Afterlife, Yami had felt rejected because of the Gods sending him back without a reason. He didn't understand why he hadn't been granted to stay, and it had taken him quite some time to get his life back on track. What he had done mostly was to 'collect' people around him; the circle of friends he had build up with his aibou of course, and inviting people over in his house, filling up every room in the quaint GameShop building.
With the twins, Set, Mahaado, Mana, jii-chan, Yuugi's mother and since a few days, Yuugi himself again, in one and the same house it was quite full, but it was exactly to his heart's content : people around him. That was why he had been, especially in the beginning, searching for a relationship, first trying his aibou, then hopping towards Pegasus, Keith Howard for a moment, flirting with Vivian Wong and Shizuka to boot, and when Otogi had come into the picture, Yami had latched onto him, not understanding how imposing he was at the moment.
After a little bit of drama, time had passed. Otogi had left for the States, and Yami had sort of settled down, accepting his place in life, and even looking forwards, to the future; thinking about picking up a study or getting himself a job.
Then there was the gender change, Honda, the twins. Otogi had receded into the background, but now that he had returned from the States... Yami didn't know exactly what and how he was feeling. After some friendly banter, Otogi had all but invited him over, and so Yami was getting ready to visit his friend. Did Otogi even know he had changed into a woman? About the twins? Yami blushed faintly.
The other advantage was that with so many people in the house, there was always a babysitter around. Leaving the twins in good care of Mana, who took her text books into the nursery with her, slightly giggling at the sight of the cute babies, Yami went out of the house to go over to Otogi's. He took his large bag with him, with a bottle of massage oil. What was going to happen this afternoon? If anything, Yami was curious to see his friend again.
