It takes the dust to have it polished
He knew exactly why he was doing this. Miho had seem so insistent on them spending more time together that Ryou had simply run out of excuses to use. He wasn't sure how going to an orchard and picking apples was going to be fun, but Miho seemed to want to go and he couldn't tell her no this time.
Riding along in the cab, Ryou looked over to Miho for a moment then back out the window. He watched the cars pass by, staying eerily silent the entire ride. As soon as they had reached the orchard, he paid the driver and stepped out of the car, moving to open Miho's door for her.
"We're here at the orchard now." For some reason, he felt it necessary to state the obvious. He had never been to an orchard before so he wasn't sure what to expect except rows and rows of trees. "I wonder where we go from here."
