Name: sera
Team: Diamonds
Where do you live? Germany

All About You
Three words that describe you: smart, sarcastic, introvert
What are your strengths and weaknesses? I'm smart and resourceful, a good listener and always willing to help out. But I can also be pretty mean and indifferent and I like being right a little too much sometimes. (And I'm so lazy.)
What are your hobbies? Reading is my favourite thing to do. I also enjoy crochet, baking & cooking, making graphics and writing fanfic.
Are you a more optimistic or pessimistic person? Realistic.
You have several deadlines coming up soon. How do you handle it? Actually, I'm very good with deadlines. I do my best work under pressure. If I have a deadline that's far off, I usually let things slide until there's more of an immediate need to actually do it.
What are some of your pet peeves? Epithets. Bad grammar. People leaving things open, like the bread (it goes stale, okay?) and the toothpaste (yuck! hard clumpy toothpaste) and the shampoo (it's in the shower and water gets in and nobody minds except me, argh!).
What type of music do you listen to the most? A little bit of everything. It really depends on my mood. But I really love instrumental music (movie scores and classical), rock and punk. Oh, and classic rock.
If you could have any job regardless of training or money, what would it be and why? Librarian. I want to be surrounded by books.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and what would you do there? This is giving me some trouble - I'm not sure I want to travel anywhere. Maybe go to the coast (it's only a 45 min drive) and take a walk along the water)?
If you could travel anywhere in time, future or past, where would you go and why? Library of Alexandria in its heyday. (I did mention I like books, yeah?)
Do you have a strong sense of humor? What things make you laugh the most? How important is laughter to you? I'm pretty funny (or so people tell me) and I laugh a lot. I love word plays and sarcastic humor. Black humour is awesome, too. I'm not too fond of slapstick - too much of it hits my embarrassment squick and makes me really uncomfortable. (Plus slapstick always implies that you're laughing at someone else - because they're uncoordinated or stupid or ignorant. Other types of humour also poke fun at people, but it's not the 'point your finger and laugh out loud' type.)
If you asked someone out on a date, where would you take them? Or if someone asked you, where what would you like to do? Cinema is always a good bet if you know them but not too well - it gives you something to talk about and you can definitely tell a lot by what movie people enjoy. If you know each other a bit better, do something you both enjoy.
What is your favorite book and why? Ugh. No, not answering that. How could I possibly answer this question? Not only are there too many good books, but there are new good books written every year. How can I pick a favourite when - right at this moment - someone could be sitting at their desk writing it right now?
What was the last movie you watched? What did you like or dislike about it? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I'd never seen it before - didn't see the need because I'd read the books so many times - but I saw a clip of Neville being awesome and figured why not? So I watched it. I liked it - the special effects were pretty awesome.

Part two! Because it was too long. Oops. I talk too much.

Party Time
There is a party going on tonight. Do you go? Is it your party, or did someone invite you? Nope.
What type of party is it? Still nope.
What would you most likely do at the party? Still not going. If I did, I'd probably bring a book. (Family events usually include a "don't bring your book this time!" note for yours truly.) I think the last time I was at an honest-to-god party was in 1998 or so. Board game nights. Movie nights. Hanging-out-with-friends nights. Yes. Parties? Nope.
You get into an argument with someone at the party. What do you fight over? Do you keep at it, or do you back down and walk away? I don't even know. Look, if I go to the movies with friends it's a big deal for me. I dislike being surrounded by people. I don't have much to talk about with anyone I'd meet at a party unless they also happened to read "Angelfall" the other day. (Good book, btw.) If I were involved in a fight at a party, it would probably because I wanted to leave and whoever was there with me didn't. (I'd solve it by leaving. Because I'm usually the designated driver.)
You see someone who looks like they need some help. What do you do? Do you help them? Do you go find someone in charge? Do you ignore them? Find out if they do need help, then find someone in charge to help them/organise what they need.
While at a party, you see a closed door. Do you want to open it? Why or why not? Not really? It's pretty rude to just walk into random rooms at other people's houses.
Someone at the party said something personal about you. How do you react? Deep sigh, read the last sentence again, check the time ("can we leave soon? can we leave now?!"), go back to reading. If that doesn't work, leave.

Wow. Yeah, that party section was just really the wrong types of questions. Why not a movie night section? That would have been so much better.

I'm sorry about that. I tried to come up with questions that would fit every one of the stamping options and then fit them together in a theme. I guess movie night could have worked, but I didn't think it would fit the more social or energetic ones. I figured party was an overarching thing encompassed more crowded things and also smaller gatherings.

No, no, the questions were fine. I'm sure nobody else even hesitated. It wasn't supposed to be a criticism, just general commentary on how my answers are pretty much useless for that entire section. My problem was that once I answered the first question with "no, I'm not going to the party (because I never do)" there really was nothing else to say for the following questions. I tried and I did manage to pull some answers from somewhere, but they're probably not too helpful for the stamping.

I'm getting a mostly Mystery vibe from your answers:a little guarded, but more the goal-oriented problem-solver part.
