cold days
Sometimes a strange numbness overtakes me, and I feel nothing but complete logic. My brain becomes a computer and I feel nothing, but get a vague enjoyment out of my computations. This usually occurs after an emotional upheaval, good or bad. My brother is here now, we have been having some good fun. War of the Worlds was insanely good...better than anything this year, even batman begins. Sometimes I prefer my brain to work this way, cold and unfeeling. Helps me through...perhaps this is my defense against change.
