The First
Finally, I got to go out to the goth club here and see how the scene is. I can tell you for one thing, that here, the people are far nicer. Far more laid back and easy going. The music they play is far better, and the place (area 51)is about as large as Shampoo was. There were tons of people there, mainly because this is supposedly one of the biggest events of the year in SLC, called Dark Arts. Tons of bands perfromed that i met and gave them my demos, and the girl I went with is in a band called Violet Run, which is pretty good. Her name is Jinny, and she's cool. She's no Rachel so far, but she's cool. The drinks do have half the alcohol, but they are also half the price...so it sort of even's out. I think I will get to like this scene.
