Fascinating, right?
I should totally be embarrassed about introducing myself to all my new friends by way of my last post, but who am I kidding. That's a fair representation of who I am, right? Totes.
So, on that note, WELCOME NEW FRIENDS!
Now, I have a welcome post over that-a-way, but I'm going to give you a little run down here. How's that sound? Cool? Coooooooooool.
Alright, I'm Kate (like you hadn't figured that out already). I'm 31-years-old (in actual years, but we all know that says absolutely nothing about my actual maturity level), a single mom of a very adorable/active/ADD/precocious 6-year-old little girl named Gracie (AKA, the munchkin or the kid). Gracie's dad isn't around, at all, and we like it that way. However, it makes things difficult because I'm currently unemployed (OMG, I hate the Melon Baller so much).
Anyway, I will likely continue to post random and adorable pictures of the munchkin, but will always f-lock them and put them behind a cut, just in case you don't care. LOL
Like I said, I'm single and, guh, dating is haaaaaaaaaard. I currently have this thing going on with my daughters best friends dad. Like, we're not dating (because OMG I would die if that actually happened), but it feels to me - most days - that we are equally in like with each other. I dunno. It's confusing. And I'm going to talk about it. A lot. Seriously. And you will hate me for it. Maybe. I dunno. Whatever.
I also love to talk about my love of Rupert Young (who is actually my boyfriend, but he's totally not figured it out yet, damn him). He even tweeted me on my birthday because OMG HE'S THE SWEETEST! So, yeah, there's that. I mean, seriously. LOVE. HIM.
I've recently decided that 2013 is going to be my year. In a lot of aspects, so let's keep our fingers crossed, yeah? And if you're interested in being part of my designated writing projects this year, please let me know. I need all the motivation I can get. :)
Lastly, I do try to update my LJ weekly (this is a new development. Don't hold your breath), but if you really want to get in touch with me, add me on Twitter. You can find the links to both of my accounts on the welcome post, but my names are kate0404 and CardiganK8. I update Twitter at least once a day, but usually more.
I dunno if there's much else to say. I mean, I'm sure there is, but you'll get to know me pretty well as we go along. :) I swear, I'm very approachable.
