Or: All the Doctor wants is to give his friends a nice honeymoon in the galactically-renowned Hotel Avalon. Except he sort of stumbles across this medieval king who has a date with destiny and then, well, business as usual, really.
Why? Okay, here's why. I promised to rec the shit out of this when it was posted, so I'm reccing the shit out it. But, seriously... okay... just... here's the thing. I don't watch Doctor Who (SO SHOOT ME!) and that was why I offered to read it for the dear leashy_bebes. She needed to know. Andandand... I've been told, for a very long time that I need to watch Doctor Who (which, btw, I finally did download the first season - I'll get to it soon!), but reading this fic... dude. DUDE. DUDE! It's just so good. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A DOCTOR WHO WATCHER TO LOVE THIS FIC! Merlin and Arthur are... god, they're epic and I don't even know how the Doctor really is in the show, but I find that I love him and his quirkiness. I was just really drawn in by the characters and, like I said, YOU DON'T HAVE TO WATCH DOCTOR WHO! She's even so kind to give you a little background information on Doctor Who, so you, at the very least, don't feel exceptionally confused.
