(no subject)
1. Friday Film. It should be Alien Hunter, but we can't find it, and suspect that it has gone back to Cambridge by accident, so instead of 'fake stargate' we'll be watching actual Stargate. Or if you have a better suggestion (that's about 2 hours long) bring it along on Friday and we might watch that instead. Either way, the start time's 6.30pm, so be there sharpish.
2. After the Friday Film we're going to head over to Cafe Jazz which is on St Mary's Street and is a bar that got in contact with us and would like to host our meetings week to week. While we have got Milgi to go to, and are thus not really in the market for a new place, we have been shunted about a bit with the yurt and Cafe Jazz have offered us some pretty sweet deals, so we're going to go along and check it out. I believe the first round is on them, so come along to the Friday Film and have a drink with us afterwards. (The food looks pretty good and most helpfully, pretty cheap too!)
3. This is your 3 week reminder for the Secret Santa. I'll be posting a reminder once a week now until we get there. ~£10 and if you have no idea what to get ask someone for help or just get something ridiculous. We're all geeks, that's why we joined. If you don't know someone personally, get them something generally dorky. Or something embarrassing. We like that too!
4. The Christmas meal. 5. Hoodies. If you want one I'll be bringing the list and colour sheet to the Friday Film. I'm going to order them before Christmas so hopefully we can get them to wear in the New Year.
6. If you hadn't already guessed we've got a Monday Milgi Meeting on Monday at Milgi. Usual time, usual place. No games planned but feel free to bring stuff to play if you'd like.
