Other projects...fingerless gloves and socks

Dec 29, 2009 15:44

I was going to make thigh high socks with this yarn that I got from Hancock Fabrics, but the first one I made turned out too big and I didn't want to deal with math so I decided to make fingerless gloves instead.

I love these gloves.  I wear them everyday and have enough yarn left over to make several more pairs!

Also, awhile back I made Brad some socks.

The pattern is the Basic Adult-Size Fingering Weight Short Row Heel Sock by Kathleen Taylor from the book The Big Book of Socks.
The only adjustment I made was to do the cuff in a k2, p2 ribbing.

So that's all for now.  I'm still working on one last Christmas present and then I will be finishing up my other WIPs at the beginning of the year.  One of my resolutions will be to finish my WIPs.  I have a handful that are thisclose to being finished.
