Finally, A Good Day
I want to start off with perhaps the coolest news.
I got it.
Got what you may be (and should be) asking? In my last entry, I mentioned meeting William Gordean, editor of both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 the movies.
Today, he came in and signed my copies of the DVDs.
He really is a nice guy. He came into the store today for just that purpose and between meetings he had, so I was very honored he made time to sign them for me. I’ve been giddy all day from it!
In random news…
My brother Michael finally caved in and is now playing Guitar Hero II (and subsequently, Rock Band and Guitar Hero III) on the 360. He’s avoided the games mostly, adamant they aren’t really his thing. But, between playing with me and Steven (half brother) on occasion and his friend Ray, he’s finally given in and I saw him actually playing on his own.
I was just very stunned, but I thought it cool because they are fun games and it’ll be one more thing we can do together.
Work is going decent. Making good money on orders, so that’s a plus. But we’re all caught up on the work again, so it’s slow going. I do hope it picks up.
Ordered a few more books. Amazon is running a deal on paperbacks. Buy 3, get a 4th free. Adelle got one, and I got Mass Effect: Revelation (yes, based on the game), DragonLance: Dragons Of The Dwarven Depths: The Lost Chronicles, Volume One, and DragonLance: Dragons of the Highlord Skies: The Lost Chronicles, Vol. 2. I look forward to reading them.
Speaking of books, I also received 2 in the mail from Sci-Fi Book Club I ordered. Star Wars: Revelations and DragonLance: Second Generation. Can’t wait to start those either.
And on the reading aspect of books, I’m halfway through book 1 of the Star Wars: MedStar duology. Go me!
