This is a community for the writing of gift fic in the Cardcaptor Sakura fandom. Welcome to this event, the Syaoran's Birthday fic exchange.
For this event, you sign up to write one fic featuring Syaoran using someone else's prompt, and you post it within two weeks of his birthday, July 13. So fic should be posted between July 6 and July 20.
Sign-ups begin May 13, 2008 and last until May 27, 2008. At that time all fic requests will be collected and assigned. Gift fic should be posted on the site by July 20, 2008. For formatting information, please see the profile .

The two "I absolutely" are writer/reader squick. If you squick yaoi and your gift fic is yaoi, you're going to be disappointed, aren't you? To avoid this, please pay attention to your reader's squicks, and they will in turn pay attention to your writer's squicks. If you have no squicks or would like to request smut, that's fine, but make sure upon posting that these things are clearly marked.
As for the prompt: prompts should not be just one word, and prompts shouldn't be a plot outline. A phrase and a pairing is generally preferred, or maybe an event that should feature in the story. Even better: give your exchange writer several options to choose from.

BAD: Syaoran/Sakura, having a picnic in the summertime, sharing a kiss, talking about family, going home together. Mostly fluffy, some angst if possible, and I want to see Kero eating sweets.
GOOD: Syaoran/Sakura, long summer days
