- You took pictures on a spinny ride? Is that even physically possible? You know what's the absolute best spinny ride ever? Soundwave, or whatever it is. The one where you sit, and they blast music loudly, and this little cover thing comes over your head. Anyway.. - Man.. Photobooths are the coolest thing ever. Too bad we were all broke and cheap when we went to the fair, and didn't take any. - We wanted to watch the diving show, but we left like 5 minutes before it started because we're losers like that. don't even pretend that he looks as good in a speedo as michael phelps does. Hahah! No kidding. I was watching Best Summer Ever on VH1, and they were talking about Phelpsie rocking the speedo. Bwahah! - Niiiiiice llamas. Heheh! - I have a variation of this pic, with mine and Maggie's feet! I don't remember if I posted it, though, 'cause our feet were NASTY since we were wearing flipflops.. I'm not crazy! Yay! That, or we're both crazy. *shrugs* - Man.. Funhouses. We couldn't go in any of them 'cause we were wearing flipflops and not sneakers. Grr. :( - Bwahahah! Giant western sausages, eh? ;)
haha, i didn't think it was, BUT I DID IT.. skillllsssss. i think i know what you're talking about, but if we're thinking the same thing, then i hate that ride!! because you're going around so fast that if you're sitting on the end of the car you're in, the other people in the car with you freakin squeeze the shit out of you. but i dont think we're talking about the same ride. haha.
yeah, it was kinda sucky tho because no more than half of my head was ever in the picture, and i paid like 4 out of the $8 for them..
the diving show was verrryy entertaining. and we didn't see most of it.my heart was racing so bad for the guy who jumped 80 feet.. omg.. hahhhh.
we found one where they still let us in, even tho jamie & shannon had flip flops on. it was 4 tickets though! dummies.

Okay, yeah, we're talking about the same thing. I hate the squeezing, too, but I think it's one of the fastest rides I've ever been on just because you have no idea exactly HOW fast you're going.. I hate how about 99% of all carnival rides involve some sort of spinning. *rolls eyes*
I so wanted to see that ONE particular dive.. the 80-footer. That's just insane!
4 tickets for a funhouse? That sucks. We all got unlimited wristbands when we went a couple weeks ago. It was worth it, I think.
You know what my friends and I always do when we go to the fair? Get free stuff! I swear. We spent like, 3 hours in the buildings just to get free pens, free samples, etc.. We're so ASIAN!

yeah i just wasn't feeling the rides tonight. esp the spinny ones.. i'm much more of a rollercoaster girl! :) and we would have gotten unlimited wristbands, but i just didn't go on that many rides. i only went on like 4 and hardly used all my tickets. it would have been a waste =\ i wish they had had the 10 rides for $10 wristband! dang.
hahaha we didn't have very much time so shanny and i passed on those. but i definitely have asian moments too. example from when 2 asian friends & i went to subway: friend #1 stashed like 10 napkins in her purse. i got the idea to share a footlong sandwich rather than 2 6 inchers because it was cheaper, & friend #2 was like 10 feet out of the restaurant, realized that she hadn't gotten her free refill, and ran back in to get it :)
I miss the 10 rides for $10 deal, too. That was the best. *sighs* Maybe they'll come back next year. *crosses fingers* They should also have less spinny rides and definitely more coasters! It's kinda sad when they have a spinning roller coaster.. God.. That was a little fun, but not really..

yeah, but i don't like the roller coasters at the state fair. they're such crap.. did you hear about the one that broke down this year? it was going up one of the ramps, and couldn't get a hold of the chain, so the people went flying back. they just had like sore necks or w/e but still.. wtf!
