Easter Sunday

Apr 12, 2004 10:34

Easter this year was a very subdued affair. I woke up and searched around a bit for my basket. I thought for sure it would be in one of the cars, but no. It was hidden under the desk (which was being sat in) so I found my sister's baskets years before mine (the shower and underneath a blanket, guess the Easter Bunny got a little lazy this year.) After wasting away the day I talked to Shaffer, who'd just got home from his cruise. He came over a little while later while I talked to Chris and Tat about how Norm is gonna get 540 Ninja Scissor Flask (flash*) Kicked because he's mexipwned nubsauce shway or some other such nonsense. Shaffer arrived with Stewart (as Bill had gone to the movies.) I took 'em both for a ride around the block in the TT and they seemed moderately impressed (except for me almost missing second both times.) Then we went out to Winn Dixie for some munchies. I told Phil I'd give him a 10 car head start and we'll see what happens. We picked up some pudding, which we then delivered to Tat, authentic Mexican sombreros (courtesy of Shaffer and 80 Pesos) and all. Back to my house so I could grab some money and my phone, then over to Stewart's house to pick up some things. (Stewart's parents = awesome, by the way. Must be where Stewy gets it from) and then out to a gas station to hang out and talk for a bit. Stewart left with someone else to get something or do something I can't remember. So Shaffer and I headed over to Bill's. Shaffer had a couple semi-nice power slides on the wet roads, nothing that topped the dirt road fiasco, though. When we got to Bill's I learned he has the coolest room ever. Then we headed back to the Publix parking lot to meet up with Stewy. Shaffer, Bill, and I hung out for a bit and talked about random everything until Stewy showed up. Then off to Taco Bell. A couple Tacos later I was back at home and showed Bill the Stealths. Then Shaffer and Bill headed out again. I got online, talked to Tat and A-bomb a little bit, and then hit the hay. And now here I am today, wasting away the day.
