pop_newsletter memories - opinions wanted
I'm having these strange flashbacks to a tv show or a movie I've seen that had a really ticked off man or woman going around yelling "BALLS," at everything. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I can't for the life of me remember more about it and until I do I'm going to have an androgynous somebody in my head, going on and on about "Balls. Balls, balls, balls, balls, BALLS!"
It's exactly as disturbing as it sounds.
On to less disturbing things. Every week as pop_newsletter comes out, I sort all LJ links to the memories. I keep tweaking the categories as things go on, mostly in accordance with my whims but trying to keep everything organised anyway. If you take a look at the Miscellaneous section, you can see that the links there can be roughly divided into two categories. Things that relate directly to the boys but aren't quite news (articles, blog entries, gossip, ...) and different things that the fans have done (music mixes, website changes, lists,...) and I'd like to reflect division that in the memories. So I'm thinking about setting up two categories for them, but the only names I can come up with are Miscellaneous Fandom and Miscellaneous Canon and I'm not too fond of either of them. What do you think? Do the names reflect what they're supposed to? Do you have a better suggestion? (Please do, I'm counting on it.) Do you think I'm insanely fussy and obsessed about this? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. ;-) Also, if you have any other comments, questions or complaints about the memories, please let me know.
