Getting smashed at your company's holiday party may be considered a trashy thing to do, but it's a little different when you work for a winemaker. It's a lot different when she serves the almost sold out crown jewel of her winemaking career, the same $100 a bottle wine the white house served to the president and the chancellor of Germany when she came for a visit. Behold, my first hangover.
Since I last posted, I got fired form the taffy shop and started working full time at the winery. I've never loved a job more. I like the days I work better than the days I don't. In fact, I am going in on Monday even though I'm not sceduled to. Getting fired was a blessing.
