Yes, Sheffield was fun. Yes, we're all broken. But going back to how we got here..
Arrived at Corp bright and on time, and After a surprisingly thorough soundcheck, we still had an hour to kill (we're not used to this - we normally soundcheck then go pretty much straight on!) so it was the usual Subway for food (no twelve-cookie sugar binge this time tho)
Huge thanks to our Sheffield faithful for the best reception we've had!! We even got cheers as we walked on to the stage - huge fun :)
Both Ashbury Heights and Combichrist took full advantage of the larger PA tonight to deliver great shows - Ashbury may be softer than us or Combi, but I'm really liking their music (I've found out the song with the beautiful synth sound is "Die by Numbers").
Combichrist were just brutal, as you would expect. Andy charging about everywhere, Joey (the drummer) chucking drumsticks left right and centre, and Zmar pounding the synths. Massive reactions from the audience, and I'm sure we got a longer set than yesterday (although there was a strict 1030 curfew there, so that may explain it).
There was inevitably arm-wrestling backstge afterwards, and no, I didn't have a go. Have a look at the monolith that is Andy LaPlegua here and see why!
The party at SyN upstairs after was great - sooo many people, i'ts great to see it so full again. Took a few more photos tonight, and had a lovely chatter with Jasmine, the girl from Ashbury Heights. Combichrist were marauding around as well - I'll post pictures up later when I can. As predicted though, fun was had, madness ensued.
Four hours will we need to be setting off for London - two down, one to go!
