amazing dream

This was so vivid, but for reason I can't remember details. All I can remember is like, the way everything looked and felt, like so well. Anyway.

Some weird company rolls through our school looking for student volunteers to perform tests on. I don't remember what the test was, but I did it. Everything is fine for a day or two until I talk to someone about some activity I have coming up and they laugh at me, saying that's so weird and I never used to do that. I do do it though, and start asking around. The more people I talk to, the more I discover that there's all these little things that just don't make sense. Stuff that everyone should know about they don't, and when I try to show them, it just doesn't exist. For some reason start talking about this really common plant (let's say a saguaro) and nobody knows what I'm talking about. So I go to the backyard to show everyone the plant I'm talking to and it's not there. Instead, there are some plants that look pretty normal at first, but upon closer inspection, they're completely unfamiliar.

I suddenly come to the conclusion that the experiment made me hop to another dimension, like if there was a multiverse. For some reason, my friend Jared is no longer studying film and is instead studying some branch of science that deals with parallel universes. I tell him and he scoffs, saying that time travel is easy but no one has dimension traveled. He tells me that I shouldn't tell anyone else, and I listen to him because he's the expert. Let me also add that by this point I have talked to my mom and Jared and while they basically acted the same, I found their interactions weird, like I wasn't quite on the same plane of existence as they were.

I look up the company, who thank god still exists, and ask them about it. They're like your typical evil corporation studying shady shit fucking with the basic of mother nature and they pretty much tell me that I can't prove a thing. I tell them that I'll bring my story to the attention of the media and they laugh and tell me to go ahead and try. Good point. They tell me that there is a test bombing somehow associated with the experiment they did on me, and that if I wanted to try to protest, there was a big protest planned. They gave me the address and I decided to go.

I remember being at this wierd video place, it was like where they went for fun, and I hated it, I was feeling so out of place. Something in these videos put me over the edge, like I had completely lost my chance at any kind of life, and I didn't care who I told.

I was telling everyone I could and asking how to get to the bomb testing. Everyone would laugh me away thinking I was just crazy, but they'd all help. To get there they told I should take this big flying mattress thing. I should add that this dream took place in some undefined future, at least this new reality was in the future. Anyway this giant flying mattress would automatically go around making deliveries and pickups, and you weren't supposed to but people would grab on during the split second it took to make a delivery and then hold on till it got where they wanted to. Dangerous but free.

On my mattress thing there was me, fellow film students Ross and Will who happened to be going too, and an old man. The mattress would twist and turn through the air and come dangerous close to hitting things, and it was very hard for us to hold on. I was convinced someone would die. The mattress took us to a football stadium sponsored by the Colbert Report. I noticed they had mispelled the word jump as jmup when they painted it on the field. We slowly began to lower down to the field and the second we touched down and touched back off too. Some other kid had jumped on, a friend of Ross and Will's that they wanted to pick up. With the added weight, the mattress got even more erratic and we were all hanging on for dear life. I lost my shoes it was so rough.

When we finally got to this building I had to go to, it was 3 minutes until the bomb would hit. I jumped off and ran in the building, with Ross running after me saying he thought I was kidding about doing this and that I was not thinking right. I ran in and everything had been statically charged from the way this bomb was traveling towards it. I had no shows and it hurt. I could see electricity jumping around everywhere. I ran inside and there were a few other guys already there just waiting. I realized I had no idea what to do and just started yelling to these guys about how this company had travelled me into another dimension and how they were evil. The guys all laughed at me.

The static was getting worse and I knew the bomb was coming. My feet were killing my and so I jumped up on a bed in a room. I knew that when the bomb hit would would likely all die, and I wanted to create an escape route for myself. Interestingly enough, all the rooms were still fully furnished and I saw all this stuff I wanted to take. For a while I considered just taking it and running but I knew I didn't have the time. I took the heaviest, sharpest looking thing I could find (a little lock box) and begin hitting at a window with the corner of it. It didn't do a thing and the more I looked at the window the thicker it looked. I knew I wasn't getting out. The static was insane now, like I didn't know if I would live to see the bomb ever hit, and I started panicking.

That's when I woke up.

This dream would be totally cooler if you were me because I could sit down and draw out perfectly detailed maps of every location I went to. It was bizarre, and I could feel all the static too. I still have a perfect picture in my head of what everything looked like, despite not being able to remember most story details.

OK I'm done. That was long. See ya.
