I finally applied to do comics for the school newspaper. It's something I've been considering since the day I got here, but I'd been too worried that my comics wouldn't be any good.
The show is almost done now, and I like it a lot. I want lots of people to watch it and (hopefully) be very entertained. The only problem is, nobody watches the TV station. However, everyone reads the newspaper. The comic is directly tied in to the show and I will be using it to advertise the show. Hopefully being on the paper staff will allow me to get a nice big article about the show too. It worked for "Hot Campus".
Anyway, I did 2 weeks worth before I applied, just to make sure I could. I think they are pretty good. This was a pretty last minute decision though and I went in pretty unprepared. But now I have applied. So that is that. Wish me luck.
