We're going through a bit of a cold spell, so I foresee lots of days in this week. There's really only so much you can do in a one bedroom apartment, so I'm quite dreading it. Yesterday, we decided to take a walk outside, without having checked what the weather was like (a habit we usually keep, except for this instance). It was bitterly cold and windy and we quickly realized it wasn't that good an idea to let Raspberry stomp in the snow and throw her little body onto snow-mounds. By the time we got to the store, my cheeks and nose were stinging and red. Like Saturday, Raspberry spent all day inside today. She was more than a little bored by the time mid-afternoon rolled around. I tossed her into the tub with brushes, cups and paint and told her to go to town. She did, although for not as long as I'd expected. Toward the end, the novelty of painting the tub seemed to wear off and she wanted me to paint cats on the sides of the tub for her. When asked later if she had fun in the tub, she said no, because she had to get cleaned up after. I had the mundane but undreadful job of scrubbing down the bathtub thereafter. It desperately needed a good cleaning anyway and hey, it's a bit whiter now than it was before.
