Congratulations to the new addition. Glad to hear you're not rushing a name, but something tells me raspberry is going to stick as one of those child names she'll grow up to love and cherish as a family inside thing as she gets older.
Thank you! Lucas and I agree that Raspberry will probably be what we end up calling her, despite having an official name. She'll always be Raspberry, just like she's been since June.
I've read about a small percentage of parents (like, 10%) who decide after a few months or years that they dislike the name they originally gave to their kids and they end up changing it. I definitely don't want to end up being one of those, or even a parent who doesn't especially like their kid's name that much. But as far as Lucas and I see it, she'll always be Raspberry to us.
My recovery's going good, I think. I'm still a bit sore and tired from the night feedings but I guess it's a matter of adapting to new routines right now.
