Lucas looks younger with his peach fuzz.
Younger and cuter.
He looks a little bit sad here.

But I love it.
The whole half shaded face deal.

Do you really think so?
Hmm... he's so proud of his 'fro (his words).
I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I suppose much of it had to do with that I'm not really used to it. And at the end of a long day, his hair smells funny (I'm sure mine does too but I don't have the kind of hair to bury a nose in).
I suppose it does make him look a little younger... a bald head would have a tougher image.

He's watching TV in this one. He hates looking into the lens.

I think so.
Like you said, a bald head looks more tough than what he's got now.
It's a baby 'fro (ha ha).
I think everybody's hair smells funny. Except for the people who purposely put so much product in it that when they walk past you it smells like you've just inhaled a whole shampoo bottle.

I also wondered if you had mini photo sessions with him (like this one), but now I know he was just watching TV when you crept up with your lens!

He's always wanted a 'fro, or cornrows. But honestly, I think neither would work very well for him.

I think it depends a lot on what kind of stuff they put in their hair -- I don't mind fruity-smelling shampoo, but hairsprays.... yuck. Incidentally, I still smell like mango and something else. It's starting to drive me crazy.

I almost always have to ask if I can take his picture 'cause he hates his picture being taken but for me, apparently, he'll make a few exceptions.

Yeah, I can't really picture him in either. But it's a funny sight - to think of him with a giant blonde 'fro and one of them combs sticking out of the sides!

I still smell of the mango/pear as well. I like the scent of perfume that's days old that's still embedded in my clothing. It's gross but I like it!

Of course he has to make an exception for you. At least you're polite enough to ask and he's kind enough to let you (ha ha).

Ohmygod, he totally wants to have a giant blond fro with a pick! I really can't imagine him that way. Or really, I think it's that I don't want to.

I smell good now!
Well, I smell normal is what it is.

I have to ask only 'cause I know how much he doesn't like it. We made some deal years ago that he'd let me take his picture if I would just accept his compliments when he says I'm beautiful.

Oh no! There's so many things wrong with a picture of Lucas with a big blonde 'fro and pick!! It's like the trend of Japanese guys getting long dreads.. but with those guys it's not as extreme.

I smell of the Gap. We were there yesterday before the concert and I sprayed myself A LOT. Better than smelling like b.o. though.

If that's not a good trade-off, I don't really know what is!

I've never seen a Japanese guy with long dreads. It seems to bohemian for the Japanese. Japanese people, I typically associate with tiny black suits.

I think I saw pictures of Japanese guys with long dreads in a Seventeen magazine. Some photo essay about Japanese culture.... years ago. Tiny black suits?!

"This is the worst feeling in the world"

You so funny!

Do you still flip through Seventeen from time to time?
I can imagine these Japanese guys in the dreads... however, they're also in baggy raver pants and a visor.

Little Japanese businessmen in tiny black suits!
