First tutorial. =X

Lets see.. Ive been meaning to make a tut for awhile now.. but never got around to it.. and now i shall attempt one..

We will go from

Get the original picture, crop resize.. yada yada.

then grab your magic wand too and select all the black bits around Will that we dont want.
and we will get THUS:


.... looks a bit dark, so lets duplicate the layer(ctrl+J) and set it on screen:


Next, the good old, blue exclusion layer (#0D0B3C)

And copy the Will layer move to the top, desaturate(shift+ctrl+U) and set to soft light.

Next, put this texture on the very bottom layer so Willie has a background.

Next Just under the blue exclusion layer use this brush [made by me which can be found here]

with the colour
(#AFABFF)
And set then to screen.

Erase the bits covering Will's face and we will get


New layer ONTOP of the blue exclusion layer. and use this brush which I made. Can be found here..

with
(#AFABFF)

Its covering Will's face, lets rotate it.
Edit > Transform > Rotate 90 CCW
And then set the bursh layer on Luminosity.

Next use this texture: [Found here

Set to Hard Light.
Put a mask on it and lightly erase the bits covering his face.

It should look something like this:


Finally, it needs a border.
I used this brush by dorky_duck?.. can anyone varify?
In black.

Then set this layer to Overlay and duplicted to make it darker.

..and then.. viola.
