I need the smell of summer. I need it's noises in my ear...
Things have been really good.
Had a cookout at The Vault yesterday. Jonah grilled, Kelly provided food, we even got Mike to show up.
Then Kelly, Nathan, and I walked to the beach and walked along the water and back to the shop.
And when we got back to the shop, Kelly and I walked again to the park to sit on swings and be girls.
It was an amazingggg day, but it ended with me having sunburned shoulders and sore legs.

Today, I worked from 6-10am. No good.
But then Kelly and I went swimsuit shopping for her.
And we went to the beach with Nathan.
And I currently smell like summer, which smells like sunscreen and heat and kind of dirty water. But I like it.
And there's still sand between my toes.
It's all enough to make me forget that I don't have enough money to pay my bills.
It all seems so... unimportant.
I love summertime spent with friends. I don't want to do anything else.
On a similar note, Kelly and I are trying to figure out where Mike's band can play in town since they always play in Madison and never here and are great.

Working tomorrow 9-1, but I have to be there at 6am since Viktor works early.
Then open mic with Jonah and Kelly to see Nathan. And possibly Mike if we beg him enough at work.
This week is looking to be amazing.
I'm super effing happy.

One downer note, my phone is turned off AGAIN because I got behind on one bill and just never caught up.
I do still have my old phone that my mom never had shut off.
Sooo... until I get my phone turned back on (which could be anywhere from tomorrow to 2 weeks from now), please text my old phone.
