Patriarchal blessing is scheduled for tues., Sept. 20th at 10:30 am. It's a two hour drive......... guh. Yet SO worth the effort.
I went to a class I wasn't signed up for today. Islamic Religion. I figure it might be a good idea to learn as much as I can about the culture before diving in face first.
Mom is coming to visit some time next week. YAY!! We're going camping. Crap. I have to clean the house and take all that stuff to good will before she sees the mess. Actually, it's not that messy here. Hmm.... odd.
I cannot spell Kayak. Or can I? Anyway, the clinic on Thursday was fun. I rolled around in the water. The guy said I was a 'natural'. I bet he says that to all his pupils. I still need to work on not slicing the water with the paddle. also need to avoid using the paddle as my only resource. Get that hip snap going, girl! I think I'll go swimming tomorrow if the pool is open. I LOVED being in the water. It was good exercise, too.
