something for the weekend.
watch screaming masterpiece, in its entirety, from pitchfork tv. ahhh, icelandics. just picked up the new sigur ros album from tesco this afternoon, so looking forward to giving that a listen.
last night was radiohead in glasgow green, supported by bat for lashes. the rain, predictably, was heavy, but we trudged out in wellies and stylish cagouls. bat for lashes was awesome. new band. i liked the girls she had when i saw her live before, but the new band were also good. a slightly different feel. she played some new songs which were yummy, very annie-lennox-ish. and i do like a bit of the lennox. radiohead were also awesome. i hardly know the last two albums which was a bit bizarre, only the singles i suppose. i should really give them a listen though because there were a heap of songs that sounded awesome that i didn't know. unfortunately, as with most large gigs, there were a horrendous amount of utter cunts, and i really didn't enjoy the first hour or so, despite the music being good, because of stupid little neds and horrible men peeing in cups behind me (hoods up!). however, after a while i suppose i just went along with the crowd and the second hour utterly blew me away. paranoid android was a highlight. rain down, rain down, come on rain down on me. and indeed it did.
aaaaaaaanyway, after that i had planned on some pop league dancing but my feet hurt and i was soaked to the skin, so came home to my warm dry bed. i've been so ridiculously busy for the past wee while that it was great to crash and not have to set an alarm or do anything today. except i had to go shopping because i was hungry. i got some lamb to roast tomorrow except i want it now because it looks taaaaasty.
