Yahoo Voice $2.99 Erroneous Charge

Just doing some cross-linking here. Lane posted in her blog about a problem we’ve both been having with Yahoo and our bank accounts. I don’t feel like repeating the story, but needless to say, they (or someone else, so they claim) placed an unauthorized charge on my debit card and I’ve had to cancel my card, get a new one and go through the pain that’s moving all my automatic debiting accounts over to the new number.
I feel the need to make a public service announcement about it, because it happened to a friend as well. Trolling the internet, I found 2 more people who had similar problems with a minimal search.
The only link I can find is that I once used my debit card to pay for a Flickr pro-account about a year before Yahoo bought Flickr. I guess information never dies.
