Welcome to the film challenge and what a beautiful gift you have brought us!

This line made me cry :

Would that I will be worthy enough, lucky enough to stand beside you as you grow.

A lovely scene, almost as speaking in what is not said, as what is and made poignant by the readers' knowledge of the babe's destiny. thanks for posting.

Awww, Mushy!Thorongil, and Wee!Cranky Boromir, "Hey! Sleeping nao!"

It's nice - if kind of heartbreaking - to see Denethor so normal, just a loving husband happily gob-smacked by fatherhood. :)

Hee. Well, you know, there's all these people, and they keep interrupting his naptime! ^_~

*nodnod* I'm not of the Denethor-is-evil camp, so I'm rather more fond of the idea of him as a good man worn down by despair rather than a vicious man who abuses all in his path, and that naturally leads to fascination in how he was before he lost the love of his life and ended up under the sway of the hopeless images in the Palantir. So I'm really glad he resonated for you here!

Thank you so much for the lovely feedback!
