Valin Nosta & Random Things (Bunnies, Cowboys, and Run, Karl, Run!)--
A huge bunch of Very Happy Belated Birthdays to fairestcat, assassinofjoy, zasjah, alex_quine, lunasv, chrissie_m, untappedbeauty, gotham_syren, ullman79, ashinae, and cajoje, and a set of Wonderfully Happy Early Birthdays to foxrafer and ribby!

There are two bunnies hares in my backyard just now. ♥
Speaking of bunnies, of course, since I'm ensnarled in deadlines and Things I Must Do, I am suddenly staring down a whole warren of plotbunnies. *sigh* In an effort to stave off the madness of King George not writing for fun, I stole precious moments from work last night wrote fic on the sly. It needs a bit of brushing/finishing up, but it is at least something short, simple, and if I can get it up on my LJ, it should stop the no-fic shakes long enough for me to concentrate on all the not-fic stuff. Theoretically.
Meanwhile, azewewish has cruelly tempted me by suggesting I write a Vig/Bean/Karl/Dave Cowboy AU. *weeps* Somebody help me! I've already caught myself plotting different historical moments and local flavour that I could possibly include! *flails* I don't have time for this. *sobs* I want time for this. *sulks*
Parts of a phone conversation I had this afternoon:
caras_galadhon: So, as I was saying, Brenda did a picspam of Karl, and there were pictures of Pathfinder.
cinzia: ...Pathfinder?
caras_galadhon: Yeah. It's basically a movie where Karl's half-naked and runs around.
cinzia: Oooh. Run, Karl! Run!

cinzia: ...Speaking of movies in which people look hot while they run--
caras_galadhon: *snicker* Uh huh?
cinzia: --Pirates of the Caribbean is coming out soon.
*snerk* (However, according to Madame Cinzia, I am, apparently, a temptress and siren, so hopefully that's good news on the popping-her-head-up front. Currently, she has a bright, shiny, new DSL connection, but her old and cranky computer won't recognize it. She's looking into a new comp. My fingers are crossed.)
